I was able to remove the gearbox and door assembly by removing the door rail. I thought it was part of the casting but it is a part that can be removed by lifting up (there is a pin into the siderail).
When removing the center gear box turn it by hand and look for a missing tooth. If all ok grease it up and put it back. Remove each door head rack (these have the dog bone shafts) and turn them over you will see that this is made like a fine watch. Again grease the rack. This is the cause about 99% of the time of doors either sticking in the open or close. Always use plastic friendly grease. (any grease rated for food is best).
