El Classico, Thanks for posting this, I guess I had missed it originally. I especially liked the first post of Electroliner/Bruce D. who has since passed away. 

He mentioned his own passing and said this very eloquently:

"This story if it was not true, seems almost dreamlike in itself, like a lost world that once had a human hand in it's creation, and a reminder we won't live forever."

Sometime ago all threads with no posts in the last over 6 months (or something like that) were accidently closed somehow. The webmaster has said he will re-open them for you if you post a request to him with a link to the thread (so he doesn't have to search for it). Unless the thread was locked for other reasons, of course. Using an alert like MartyE suggested would probably also work if you can do that from a locked thread?

Yes ... I have sometimes reopened old topics by going to the original post and select "Take Action/Report Reply" and then type in "Please unlock topic?". And "AdMan" takes care of it.

Thanks, that's good to know. I figured MartyE knew that it worked (he's always way ahead of me on these things), but I had never tried it.
