Re: repair Lionel railsounds II sound card

Does anyone repair the Lionel railsounds II sound card? The part number is 691-8043-T40. The card is still available from Lionel, would like to just get this one repaired. The card is expensive.

The card just quit working. The train did not derail, the power supply is on a surge suppressor, plus other engines were on the same track and nothing happened to them.

Tested the card in another engine and yes it is broken.

Any information would be appreciated.
