I have a 312 SIT (smoke in tender) K-5 that needs a replacement piece of tubing.  I've looked online at parts dealers and the price ranges from a couple bucks with $7 shipping to $6.99/$7.99 plus approximately $3 shipping.  I get the feeling there's got to be something like aquarium tubing that can be purchased in bulk for far less than 9 or 10 dollars.  What's the internal diameter of the tubing Flyer used, and has anyone found a good source for it?

You can measure the external diameter of the metal tube sticking out of the tender. The I.D. of the flexible tubing should be slightly less.

The engine's buried in a tub out in a shed in the backyard - I was hoping someone had sourced some tubing and could let me know where they purchased it.
