Replacing a plastic freight truck with another plastic freight truck?

I just dropped an MPC caboose, and the plastic freight truck, which had a collector assembly attached, broke. The broken truck is still attached by the rivet. After I drill out the rivet on the broken truck, in order to reuse the collector, I need to replace it with another plastic truck, which I have. Any suggestions as to how I secure the replacement truck? I don’t have a rivet gun(?) Thanks.
