To the Brain trust, I pose the question....... How do I go about finding or making the metal Slide Bar found just under the shell of a Lionel Orange Prewar 256 Dual Motor Reversing Bar.  The little knurled handle has been purchased, and it is supposed to engage the Slide bar I am seeking, which operates the two reversing levers simultaneously to manually reverse this engine.  I thought maybe the slide bar for the 402 or 408 might be adaptable, but it is handed wrong, and would require major surgery to cut, rearrange, widen, solder and re-assemble, after cutting, drilling and filing.  Questions:  Does any one have one they would like to sell?  Does anyone have a 3D Printer that can make one out of plastic (I have an original to use as a model).  The alternative is to MAKE one out of brass. Can anyone recommend someone to create this part for me?  I eagerly await a reply.  I have enclosed a photo with the 402/408 Slide bar sitting on top of the actual Slide Bar I need (for another loco re-build).  Thanks in advance for any info or guidance you may be able to provide.  Cordially Russ Dolbear   TCA-91-34606.
