This Caterpillar D10N tractor is a very large heavy duty bulldozer used on major excavation projects. The Ertl D10N model is made by the Ertl Company Inc., Dyersville, Iowa (China). Copyright 1991 by Ertl.

The Ertl 2436 is a diecast metal model that is accurately scaled to 1/50 proportions. This model has a "dozer operator" installed in the cab. This model could be used as a trackside construction vehicle on an O scale layout.

The model is 1:50 scale. The Ertl model is about 4-1/2 inches for the overall track dimension.

See attached prototype dimensions and drawings for the D10N.

The Ertl model is currently listed at about $39.95 for a new D10N on Ebay.
