I finally put my Rio Grande alcos on the track and ran about 6 laps around the table and it then quit, These units are brand new ........I finally got it to run again but I knew something was wrong ...one engine was stopping.  I then disassembled the body and frame and within seconds saw the problem....the rear motor was loose from the motor frame....  This is  my first time working on one these new style chassie.    The screws that hold the motor on the motor mount were missing. That will be easy to fix once I find the correct screws..........my problem is the finger on the motor mount has a small hole in it....does a screw go here to stabilize the motor mount assembly on the chassis? I see a hole on the frame that seems to line up.     OH  I tried to look up parts on the Lionel web site and got nothing   WAY TO GO  LIONEL

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME HERE.

Thanks

Jackie

I was there when Liberty Belle burned up.  The FD wanted to get out there but could it take their rigs into the field/mud to get to her.

That Lionel PA set was a S show.  They did not make enough of the 3 car passenger sets to go with the ALCos and the single sale add on cars.  12 years ago that was now…and I still remember the aggravation of that.  IF you did have the complete set, it was wonderful looking.
