On Saturday, May 21st, the River CIty 3 Railers are opening our layouts for a free public display. We are located in the Westchester Commons Shopping Center at 313 Perimater Drive (between Target and the Dollar Store).

We are running trains from 11AM through 3PM.

Westchester Commons is located west of downtown Richmond at the intersection of Routes 288 & 60, just south of the James River.

Come see Modular Member Jack's new airport scene!

Peter

I’m sure we will........

Isn’t the new airport scene cool?

Peter

You know, the runway may be a little short, but the planes look very to scale. It does come together nicely though.

I know ages ago with my one layout, my 1-48 planes of the WWII era flew above including the massive B-24 Liberator. That big gunship always scared me that it would fall(hung from the nut on the light). It never did fall, I wound up taking it down though. If I ever had a big enough space for it on a layout, I would definitely pop it on there. Just have to balance the plane so it sits on it's front wheel, otherwise it's popping a wheely.
