I was going thru my stash and I found a bunch of River Rasin brass cars, GE-44 tonner and some other things I purchased years ago thinking about switching to S scale. I also have a N&W A class steam engine, aux. tender, RS-11 and a few other things. What is the best way to find the current value of these items and possibly sell them. All are in mint condidtion.

Back to the original post: sounds like quite a "stash". I would think there must be an auction site or two where those type of high end items are shown; as either current or past sales. I'm sure you can find something online.

River Raisin tends to hold its value, so if nothing else I would start at the original purchase price.
The RR website has all their models listed in their photo gallery with original prices listed. I can't find the N&W A or the RS-11 listed, sure they're not Overland?
Rusty
Good point Rusty. Those two are OMI, not RRM.
Also, you can also look up past sales on brasstrains.com
The GE-44 tonner is primed in a light gray. Yes the N&W Class A and RS-11 are Overland.
I also found 4 Drake tank cars factory painted all in original boxes.
Thanks for the ideas.

I saw two different price's on the 44 tonner, River Raisin website had one for $200 and Des Plaines Hobby website had one for $250. Both sold before I could get the money, I just found out today that all 16 boxes of my HO, O 2&3 rail I sent to the train auction house back on 12/11/20 will not get touched until sometime next month. I would like it @VGN64, just how long would you want to wait.
