When reassembling Flyer Wide Gauge do you use screws or do you try to use rivets as per the factory? If rivets, any suggestions what size(s) are best?

Although not original, I've found it much easier to use machine screws and lock nuts and/or washers. That way I can take it apart again if need be in the future. Since you don't really see the hardware, it works for me. I would say this rule applies more towards restorations or sets that get used for layout duty...
If I had a set that was very original in nice condition and the only thing wrong was a broken rivet or two, I would probably re-rivet it to make it right.
