Hi Everybody--  I apologize for bringing up this subject once again, but I have just ONE quick question. First off, I am finally about ready to start laying track and switches at long last.  In checking my workshop inventory, I suddenly find that I have 30-feet of "HO" cork roadbed from 'Model-Power' and 75-feet of "HO" cork roadbed from  "Midwest Products" that I have owned for several years.  I may decide to try and use some of that material as some of you have previously indicated that "HO" cork roadbed as a possible use in O-gauge !  Because of the general appearance of ballasted shoulders, here is my Question:

"IF" I decide to go ahead and purchase a couple of cases of O-gauge roadbed from MIDWEST, can I avoid the "rough separation" of the pieces, if I slice them down the middle with a sharp knife and come out looking GREAT ??  Thank you all in advance for your responses !!  All Aboard !

The Roadmaster awaits your decisions !
