It can be done, but it’s involved. I’m assuming you’re referring to all the valve parts that these locomotives lack from the factory?……I’ve done this swap using MTH parts. The major malfunction of the 18009 & 18064 Mohawks is the fact that the existing valve guides on the cylinders are too skinny and are blind holes,….they have to come off and be machined down flush to accept a pair of MTH valve guides. I’ve also added the lubricator and the motion rod for that,….it really turns what looks like a toy into a model,….
