Posted to GG problems with my ps2 overheating and train quits after short runs. I put it aside for some time and was about to sell it when I tested the eng again. same thing quits after short run time. Rechecked all functions. FYR works well, couplers fire as they should, front and back. After trying speed control one horn and two bells, horn blasted only 1 time and eng took off like a rocket. It has never run so fast. Turned power off and did a restart it ran slow again only after re setting speed control did it run normal again. I tried to reset to factory default, problem remains the same. Note both resets [speed control and default the horn blast only 1 time unlike owners manual states it should blow twice. any ideas would be welcome. Thank you Roy
