I was running my Proto2 N&W Y6b 20-3072 recently for a few minutes with the dcs remote when it took off at a high speed as if it were in convential mode.Is this due to a board failure.Can it be corrected by doing a feature or factory reset? Has any one experienced this also.

I think we've all had a run away at one time or another.... Hopefully a feature reset can fix the problem ? Keep the batteries charged.
A complete power cycle and factory reset would be my first try. If that doesn't do it, it may have had a tach failure. Could be simple, that can happen if the tach reader does bad, a wire breaks from the tach reader, or the tape falls off the flywheel. It can also be a board. Since that is the older 5V PS/2, you should hope it's not the board.
