A couple weeks ago I finally got the track power wiring all done on my layout and since then my 7 year old has been running trains with me nightly, at his request. Sure, so nights he goes through 4-5 locomotives in the 30-40 min we run, but at least he's there with the remote in his hand learning there is a difference between how a conventional, a TMCC, and a Legacy locomotive work. His favorite as of late is to run my K-Line Big Boy while I run my Vision Line Big Boy.
