Any body know where I can get a Hudson tender and a K4 tender for Flyer?

I would really like to get a spare Polar Express/Berkshire tender - they are spot on for Reading T1's.

They weren't a York in the spring, nor Hamburg last week.

eBay is a good source for Hudson and K4 tenders. There is usually a decent deal to be had on one that needs restoration. As for the PE/Berkshire tender, I've never seen them offered for sale anywhere. However, Lionel lists all the parts separately. A bit pricey to get just the shell, frame and two trucks, but they do have them. Just go to their parts website and do a search on 6-49632.

Tender Cost....Wow

Dean is right. I just looked and just the tender shell, chassis, and wheel sets are over $140.

Usually I find stuff like that at Allentown, Gilbertsville, York or Hamburg - but soon as I start looking - they're gone. Murphy's law.
