Hey guys,

I’m after some additional sources for cast detail locomotive parts. Currently, I am aware of 3, but they are all narrow gauge and western railroads. SSL&S is long gone, but there must be someone else you does eastern railroads.

The 3 I’ve looked at are: Precision Scale Company, River Raisin Models, and Tomalco Sn3 Parts.

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Here are the ones I'm aware of:

Also, I spoke with Dan from River Raisin models at Spring Spree and IIRC, he had a small inventory of detail parts on his table:

Troy, thanks.  The first two don't have any steam loco details.  I do have the RR website.

There's also a small quantity of S Steam parts on Shapeways.

Rusty

Rusty, I went thru their whole S catalog.  I was impressed by how high the prices are compared with bass castings.  Maybe I missed them but one thing of interest was the Atlantic backhead.

The search goes on...
