San Juan Dar Co Kits

I plan to purchase some 0n30 kits of the San Juan Car co. Is there anyone out there who wants to share his/hers experience with these kits? What are they made from? Polystyrene? How difficult is the assembly? Do they need any painting? I can build rather complicated card models but have somewhat less experience with plastic kits. I did build wooden kits by Walthers, Quality Craft and Ambroid. I live in the Netherlands, so I can't walk into a hobbyshop to check the kits out, which is why I ask... your reactions are appreciated.

there kits are On3 but you can get On30 wheel sets for them. they are a lot of work bending wire grabs , lots of underbody details . everything that is on the real one is there. they are styrene and yes they need to be painted and decaled .  you can also get them built up and ready to roll for about$80 each. if you are going to use them on an On30 layout don't expect them to go around tight curves they need 36" radius and up because of underbody detail and scale draft gear for the couplers that limits swing. they are beutifull cars when done and still available from them.
