My son and I decided to pour some concrete today. We cut 1/8 hardi board last night and primed it grey. This morning we sprayed them with sandstone color paint and lightly weathered them. I gave him some CORP coffee and a pencil and let him go to town making cracks. We still need to glue all the pieces down. I may use hot glue so if any one has a idea what to use to glue them down with let us know. Nick

nw g the paint that we used was Rust-Oleum spray paint. It was the Ultra Cover kind. grey Primer was the base and then we usedSatin stone grey on top. When the paint was dry I used Craft paint in Linen color and dabbed it on. Then the boy would smear and rub it in with his fingers to give that aged pavement look. Thanks for the comments. Nick

I think that if you use the hot glue it will be easier to remove in the future if you want to make a change. I have some hot glue that is very flexible and peels off with some effort.

The hot glue I used came off easily with a little heat. I had a boat model on our glass enclosed balcony in the summer and - POP - the sides opened right up.
