Great pics James.
Some movement on the Turtle creek railroad today.
There is something I really like about this picture. Maybe the feeling that the track looks to be in the middle of a wooded area?? I don't know, but I like it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Dave, will get the Aussie coffee pot out next week.
Mike yes it is in a wooded area, maybe I need a few more trees but that restricts track cleaning

Thanks for the info, James. I had to Google that as I was totally unaware of that line of On30 (or Oe as they call it) before you posted that. Man, it wouldn't take much at all to Americanize one of those, but they sure don't come cheap, do they?
How do you like it? Does it run well? I assume any DCC wiring would have to be done by the owner?
Lee They are very good smooth & quiet runners.
I got 2 of the diesels on ebay for around £30 (ap.$50) each.
They also did a 0-4-0 steamer just like the LGB Stainz loco, the simple valve gear ones for approx. the same as the diesels but the more complex valve gear £100 ($160)
The rolling stock is good all be with plastic wheels ,crane - car, tank, low sided gondola, wood box car/cattle car, German outline coaches etc.
The car all have detachable body parts so you can change the crane into a flat and the same with the low-sided gondola & tank cars.
Pick of the crane & a flat made from another crane car as the crane now sits on the station platform.
