scaling issues

You could be getting a conversion to metric from something drawn in inches. I’ve had this happen before with files that I didn’t draw. Try blowing it up by either 25.4, 254 or 2540% and see if it makes it a size that makes more sense.

Alternatively check and see if your slicer lets you just change the units before importing.

You are correct, all the STL files are in inches but when brought into Prusa they come in using mm so you need to use 2540 in the scale box, that will take care of it. Someday when I have extra time I'll find a way to set the Prusa slicer for inches but for now just use the scale factor.

thanks folks that makes sense!  i guess fusion 360 is making that conversion for me because i use fusion in inches and output to prusaslicer and all is good. oh well i would say u learn something new each day but with this technology seems to be 10 things a day lol.
