The MTH (RailKing) container shown is attached using the existing holes in MTH 40 foot container. The mounting is fully adjustable to allow attachment of any length container.

Just came across this. fantastic job! Need one for my layout! Wish MTH will follow your lead and make one for the Railking lineup.
You can always go for the Lionel model.

Would modifications would i need to do to make this work with Railking containers? Has anyone done this? I am sure this has been asked many times.

It actually works better with the RK containers than the Lionel ones. 
I had to do some mods to the arms and latching mechanism to get it to work with the Lionel ones.
So with my railking husky trains it would work? I have a feeling the bottom can would be tough to get out but I imagine the top one would be easier? With the lack of ideas and products for intermodal I am really thinking about getting this. Just have to find the room.

They have to be loosened, you have to be able to grab under them with the arms. They work great with the RK TTUX and the Lionel TTUX cars. The scale Lionel containers are wider and you need to lop a bit off the arms to make them work. There's a thread here where I detailed the mods I made to mine.
