Eight of us Casey Jones High Railers got together and ran trains at my house this past Thursday. We had my wife's famous Sausage dip, chips beer and fellowship among good friends. Here are a few pictures

And yes, there was indeed beer! As the old ad went years ago, "It dosen't get any better than this"

Best wishes for a Happy New Year from the Casey Jones High Railers. Thanks to all of you who come by and see our modular layout at the Pink Place and the Casey Jones Chapter, TCA train shows. We will be set up again at the February Casey Jones meet at Saint George's Church in Germantown. TN. I will post a meet notice here later this month.

Take care,

Richard

Richard Thanks for the pictures of the group. Lppks like you guys had a great time.Hope you will share pictures from St. George's.

I can remember when St.Georges'a was held in an old barn on the North side Poplar. I went to church across the street from it in the 50's at the little building before they built all the other larger buildings at the Catholic church.
Happy New Year
Thanks Popsrr,

We should have pictures of the February meet.

Take care and come down and see us some time, before the Memphis you knew is all gone. There is not much left -

Fair Grounds gone
Memphis Belle - gone
Sears Cross Town - long gone and the Sears Loralwood store may be next.
1st Methodist Church at Poplar and Cooper - Gone
The old Frisco Mikado that was once at the Fairgrounds is now rusting away in Collierville.

Happy New Year to you also,

Richard
