I am hopeful to see some Orange Hall pictures as I really miss not being there for the first time in several years.

The one week earlier date this year just didn’t cooperate with my work schedule.  This may have affected others as well and could negatively impact attendance.

My not being there had nothing to do with the vendors who did not attend.

I’m looking forward to October York more than ever before.

I hope that everyone really enjoys the meet this week.

I agonized about whether to come to the April 2019 York for about 15 seconds.  It was a devastating,  exhausting process, but I thought why not come?

I realized that there will be more O gauge trains and people gathered in that York square quarter mile than anywhere else on earth for the next six months.  Probably more than six months of WGH shows rolled into one.

I'm here, they played the national anthem to open the show, and it was a great show.

It's good to be in America.

Great Day 1: Sold stuff and chatted with our good dealers, customers and friends. I wasn't counting heads, but we had a constant flow of customers and questions. Seems like a very normal York meet. Friday is here and is the "Big" day of the 3. See you there.

Great day for me and my wife too. We always have a good time.

Bought a lot of stuff, picked up more shelves at GSDS and my custom Engine house at TW Trainworx. We had a nice chat with Mike Reagan (who built my building) and also with OGR's Allan Miller. I tried twice to talk to Scott Mann but he was always busy!

I wanted to ask Scott if he had any future plans to re-run the El Cap cars with that very cool transition car.

We had dinner at the diner on RT 30 and then headed home. We stopped at the outlets in Lancaster and Debbie was able to pick up a few necessities!

Overall, a great day and cannot wait until October.

Glad to hear that Scott. I'll see you in October since I'm missing April yet again. Hopefully I can do more than chat then.
