I finally had a few minutes to run an engine around the track. This is a quick video but will have some more posting soon. I will be using a different engine with the next one also.   The smoke fluid worked great in my lionel legacy engine. It defently is what the name says. I know there are plenty of different companies out there, this is one to try and see how you like it also. I love it.   I will also try the fluid on a caboose I have.    Here's a quick video

Here's the video of the caboose

I am impressed. A bit much for a diesel but perfect for some of the older puffers that put out meager wisps. I will still run my MS in my fan units.

By the way. does MS make a wood smoke?  Would like for some for my General.

Now all we need is good old leaded gasoline for some of the smaller stuff.  Nice to see an inspection car with a leaky head gasket billowing out the rear exhaust pipe.

Mike,

Thank you for testing our"SMOKE CLOUD" smoke fluid and doing a video. A picture is worth 10,000 words.

We have been selling this fluid for more than six years and have made well over 1500 gallons of it. If you don't want a lot of smoke then this is certainly not the one to buy.

"Smoke Cloud" works in all smoke units that use smoke fluids.

WOW!!!

That’s a lot…. I wonder how many little bottles you can get to the Gallon?

I think you’re doing a fine job with the decals. I am very impressed at how many different decals you have available on your web store.

They may make several.  At the least I noted I have one by MS called Hickory when looking over my stash a few days back.

I've also got something called Original Cedar, but I think that was a different brand.

OT, but my favorite of all time was "Smokey Fir" by the short lived LVTS brand.  That might be my all time favorite.  (I've mentioned this to Jeb once or twice and I believe he has it in his project list to see if he can make something similar... someday. )

Possible to post the vid of only the locomotive?  I've experienced this before - when there are two vids spaced so closely, iPad only "sees" and allows me to open the second (right hand) vid.

Received the Smoke Cloud fluid yesterday and tried it today in an engine that was a somewhat anemic smoker.  It does increase the volume of smoke noticeably.  Do not know how they have achieved it, but I am sold on the product.  Yes, I use Megasteam a lot and love that product too.  However, the Smoke Cloud fluid did increase the amount of smoke output.

Dave, I haven't noticed anything "missing" from here that did appear in my emails.

Normally an email version arrives before a moderator can do his duty. On occasion some real gems have been in the email, but not on site once looked for.

(You should have read some of an angry Frenchman's "goodies" once the email version was translated  They curse so great, it's funny!)

Gotta say, I'm happy with what I currently use - and I run mostly MTH so I already have a very, very smoked up basement. But always looking for a better product. The big question for me is - has anyone used it in the VLBB blow-down?  If so, I'd like to see that video. The loco, without messing around in it, puts out an anemic amount of smoke from the blow-down.  A vid of a non-tampered with VLBB showing blow-down effects using this smoke would be telling for me and likely many others. If it enhances the effect, I would certainly buy it, as I'm really wanting to increase blow-down smoke output, but squirrelly about voiding my warranty by tampering with the loco just for a little more smoke.

by the was - is there still free shipping on this stuff?

thanks

Peter
