A lot of postwar operators are looking for smoke pills but no one seems to be producing them. Does anyone know if and where they available?

After disassembling my postwar 2026 only to discover a waxy buildup from those things had completely clogged the smoke mechanism rendering it inoperable I cleaned all of it up, freed the smoke unit piston and cylinder, added a return spring, and started using liquid smoke fluid.
Gone is the waxy buildup and the smoke unit operates as if it were new. The smoke units got that way from kids (like myself) throwing in more and more pellets. The more the smoke output was reduced the more pills I threw in.

I simply advocate running liquid in the so-called pill type units. Has worked well for me and others over the decades.
