Finally got back to working on some scenery for the layout. This little section is removable and transitions between an upper and lower level.

All I did to the portals themselves was dry brush them with Liquitex Burnt & Raw Umber in two separate treatments. I had also added some sculptamold around them to make it appear as though they were laid into the mountain face.
Nice work Charlie. Liked how you did that.
