Looks like another new S product from Lionel.  I believe the idea for this car was born at a convention in Santa Clara, CA when a bunch of S fellows visited the Lionel Engineering facility.  At least it was discussed in some detail while on the Lionel tour.  A nice addition without the major cost of new tooling.  Ed L.

Don't have one, but if it's anything like the sound in the AC version F7B, it's very basic and underwhelming by today's standards.  It's OK, but can get tiresome to listen to after a while.  I installed a switch in mine to disable the sound.

As I recall, horn, bell and generic diesel "roar" that will increase as certain voltage levels are reached.  There's no battery back-up to keep the sound going over dirty track or the reversing sequence.
