sparking on Atlas 7.5 switch

OmanOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I'm experiencing wheels shorting on Atlas 7.5 turnouts. I searched the forum and found past posts on this issue, but they were for older versions of this switch. However, it looks like Atlas really didn't correct this issue. Mine are the ones with the gold UV sticker on the box. I'd like to hear from anyone that has the current version with the red UV sticker. I'd like to know if it is the same or improved. The problem; the center rail is too close to the outside rail. Only the 7.5 has this problem.
