Well, Chuffington Wilson cruise control upgrade is going good! I only have one issue. I would love to put sound in the unit. I was going to remove the LED housing and light pipe in the front of the engine to make room for the fat boy speaker and baffle that ships with the electric railroad sound upgrade.

I then realized that the way the light housing was engineered. The are around Wilson's eyes lights up a bit in the dark.

So, I wonder. Is there a speaker available with baffle similar to the electric railroad speaker . But, maybe a tad smaller?

I'm with carl, I just find various plastic caps to make speaker baffles for speakers of all sizes. One source of baffles is PVC pipe, cut to side and just glue a piece of Styrene on the top, custom baffle.

I've also found that you can buy laptop speakers on eBay and elsewhere.  Some of them are well engineered to put out an amazing amount of sound for a small enclosure.  Here's one I use in my command controlled clown car.

John,

Any link for that speaker. I was able to get a speaker location. I file down the sides of the baffle to almost paper thin.

It makes it between the post. I kept the LED housing in the front of the engine. As it does light wilsons eyes a bit in the

dark I will post some pictures and video.

I do have a problem in conventional. It does not want to cycle forward reverse. The old no load CW80 thing. I was thinking of a small bulb inside?

Are these motors considered large or small to the ERR board.

I opted for GP9 Sounds in place of F3. A little more robust sounding then the F3. The stuttering  of movement is the lack of a tmcc antenna.
