Spring Cleaning

im sure some others of you have a similar set up. My layout is in the garage and we live in a wind prone area so lots of dust is normal. I do the usual track cleaning, but about once a year it gets to the point I need to clear everything out, vacuume the surface, clean the track then dust everything well. Also swapping the Ives bridge out for a Dorfan. This is the week thanks to some exquisite weather.

yeah need to do that myself. And the the layout is only half of it, the air force I have hanging overhead needs cleaning as well....and at last count there are 78 winged things that need the dust and cobwebs cleaned off.

Steve,

That is one of the nicest layouts I have seen! Although I prefer highly detailed layouts, this one just makes me feel like going back to the simple carpet setup!

Ameen

Thanks Ameen. Being as I have to clean it like this once or twice a year, I don’t get to carried away with “stuff” all around or operating accessories.

Looks great Steve!

I need to do some spring cleaning as well. About a month ago I scrubbed all the tracks and wheels, but I really need to dust everything. I'm on call this weekend so I'm stuck home, sounds like a perfect time the break out the duster

That green 1110 must be from the boxed set?

Yes, that is what made the other set available.

Steve, are there Fisher Price People in your white streetcar in the top center?   If yes, then that is amazing.  I had no idea any of them could fit on a tinplate car.

Tim

They are either Fisher Price or Playmobile. They have a slot cut in them so they slide over the seat bottom. Not sure who did it, but I like them.
