"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

I have a properly lubricated (wheel bearings and gear boxes with LGB oil and LGB grease), yet I still have an unidentified squeak when running my 414 croc on my R2 curves. I notice the wheel base is longer on the croc than on my 2085D, and wonder if that is the issue on the 414? The 2085D also has NO pickup skates like the croc, but I cleaned them with smoke fluid cleaning oil. Can anyone here suggest a remedy other than going to R3 or higher radius?

I’ve heard crocs squeak on tight curves, but I don’t remember mine ever doing it.  Then again, I’ve used wide curves on the mainline for years.  I would suggest making sure you have oiled the drive rods.  Also, make sure the circuitry inside the engine is not heating up, as this might indicate something is binding or wrong with the motors.
