I recently won an couple of auction for #8 locomotives and some very poorly repainted 300 series passenger cars. These cars were too ugly to leave alone and since retiring in March I have plenty of time to play with trains.

Now that this one is finished I'm working on a New Haven train.

Your fantasy paint jobs are among the best that I've ever seen.  Have you considered contacting @Allan Miller about doing a step-by-step article for the magazine?

You've found your second calling.  Your restorations are absolutely stunning.  I especially love the Lightning Stripe livery.

Just a little suggestion, well intended and hopefully taken that way:  We can't see enough detail in the videos.  Please turn your phone 90º and shoot your video from that position (Landscape instead of Portrait).  Portrait is better for people, many trees, the Washington Monument, and rockets because they're all tall and skinny.  Landscape is best for most other things, including trains, because they're short and wide.
