I got lucky a few years ago and got two complete 0-72 tubular loops and then had a local train store selling straight pieces of standard for $2 a piece, of which I bought about 12. Years later, the store is sold out and ebay is a mess of people selling O-27 straight pieces as standard for $5+ etc. Has standard, heavier O gauge tubular really become rare now? This is the track system I've settled on, and have my MTH and Lionel control systems and switches operating properly on. I just want another dozen or so straight pieces. Any clue what's going on with standard tubular these days?
