We just did a story on that K-Line Diner. It was offered by the K-Line Collector's Club and was a skillful redo of the old Marx Diner. In the article I wrote, checking leading web sites and seeing them at shows, the going price was about 60 or 70 dollars each. It also came with an operating billboard that is going for an additional 60 bucks or so
Hey, Read the OGR article in Run 300 and you will learn a lot more about the K-Line Diners.
K-40816A is Starlite Diner (without base) + operating billboard.
All were produced. Don't think the diner in K-40816A has smoke or sounds. As BobbyD stated, it appears the item you pictured, Al, is K-40816A (diner only)
Hey Ed, that was a great article - I really enjoyed the read. I have the BlackBonnet Starlight Diner and can't wait to get it on the LOTF (Layout of the Future).
