Yesterday I was perusing another O scale magazine and noticed their basic add.  I hadn't been to their site in a long time so I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are desiring to make two EBT engines, the standard gauge 0-6-0 and an 2-6-2,  if they can get 15 reservations for each.

I had only been aware of Bill's Train Shop's efforts to produce new, previously non-manufactured engines.  I have their EBT #12 2-8-2.

I think both prototype EBT 0-6-0s still exist.    ONe for sure was still in the engine house in Mount Union a few years ago when I was traveling in that area.

The other for years was running on the Whitewater Valley tourist line for years and then was taken out of service for rebuild.    I think it is still on site but I don't know for sure.

Unfortunately the 2-6-2, #11, was scrapped just prior to WW II I think.   It was the forerunner to the "modern" 2-8-2s starting with #12
