Strasburg meet is this Sat. - just a reminder for all still recovering from Chicago last Sat.  I've got a tub of unbuilt kits for cars and structures along with 3 more tubs of "stuff" and then just 1 last scratchbuilt structure of mine that is looking for a new home.

Drop by the OST tables and say hello!  Buy something, too!

I'll have 2 dozen new GGD PRR, K-line NYC, Weaver S.P. Bradley 80' passenger cars all $99 or less, boxes of  turnouts,  excess freight cars brass and plastic, detail parts, wall mount display cases, buildings & more.

Plus there will be scores of tables with other buildings, wheel conversion sets, couplers and a wall of discount new cars, some must have locomotives and hundreds of hard to find widgets.

Oughta be a good show, they are calling for indoor weather Saturday.

LOVE the work there Martin... the veggies are making me look out at my garden salivating for a good crop this year.

BTW I bought the David Leider book on Vinegar and Pickle/cucumber production and railroads and heartily recommend it.  Great read with lots of history and lots of great pix.

I'll have a couple dozen great bargains on Atlas & Weaver rolling stock, a P&D FB unit kit with brass trucks, various other rolling stock, and all manner of trucks for your rolling stock. Priced to move!

was planning to attend until my shower valve stopped working.

if you have any weaver cars left, let me know.......

Best show ever for me.  Selling even as I packed up the few do-dads that were left over.  Thanks Rich  and John for making it happen.

Foot note:  Kind of interesting, for the first time the place went stat when all  the fireman ran out on a call.  They were very careful as they had to maneuver through some of the tables.   Firemen never know what they need to face on a run, a special breed.

And, a good show despite a weather entertainment portion of the program; cleared a bit of stuff although I still have a fair number of kits for cars and structures available - maybe you'll want them August when this show rolls around again.  And by then I should have built another 6-12 cars so something in the inventory of my personal collection will have to hit the road to Strasburg.

Tom,

That is a good point about the firemen and their regard for the items on folks' tables. I am not sure how many are aware of the fireman's boot that is located on or near the registration tables that is marked "donations." I have mentioned this to folks and some have replied "I paid $5 admission - that is enough." C'mon, guys. The boot is for donations to the VFD. They treat us well.
