The Cincinnati Bell Connector Streetcar came back in operation on April 1st 2021.  Cincinnati Council shut it down for about 4 months as no one was riding it because of the Virus.  So far, the streetcar is free to ride and most likely they will start charging fares once the pandemic is over with.  Cincinnati uses 5 CAF built streetcars.  Kansas City got 4 new streetcars tacked onto the Cincinnati Order.  Today, the Kansas City Operation is very successful because they never charged fares on there streetcars.  Hence, Kansas City has bought 2 more new CAF Streetcars and they are in the process of extending the streetcar line to the river front.  Oh yes, there is talk in the Cincinnati Council about our streetcar with the possibility of extending the line up to the University Of Cincinnati and on to the Cincinnati, Ohio Zoo.   Also, Covington and Newport, Kentucky, that are right across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, are thinking of operating a streetcar and crossing the Ohio River to Cincinnati to link up with the Cincinnati Streetcar.

The Orange Subway Line in Boston had to pull all of there new CRRC (Built by China) Cars because they kept derailing on curves and other things were happening with them.  If you remember, Chicago has placed an order for 400 CRRC (China) Cars and if they are successful, another 400 cars will be ordered.

A bad accident in Mexico City on the subway-elevated line happened recently when a girder broke and allowed 2 Cars to drop to the ground below.  They had 26 fatalities.

What is the largest trams-streetcar cities in the world?  Melbourne Australia and Prague in the Czech Republic.

You can look up any city in the world on You Tube and they will have videos of there trams if they have them!

I have started to remodel the basement of my house and wish to build my final model train line.  I found a check that the bank returned to me for services from Jim Barrett.   Also, Jim Barrett's personal business card was in the stack with the check.  I will keep these for fond memories of Jim.
