I'd like to add a few sound clips from the film Polar Express to my Lionel steam whistle effect Polar Express locomotive. Is there a way to do this?

Is either a replacement (or additional) recordable sound board available which would fit this locomotive?

If adding to the locomotive is not feasible, anyone have suggetions for installing a recordable sound board into the Polar Express boxcar? (Is such a recordable board or chip even available from any aftermarket source?)

I already have the Polar Express conductor announcement car but I'm looking to add additional crew talk that's specific to the movie in addition to the generic crew talk which comes with that locomotive. Any and all suggested modifications which have already been successfully done by members on this board will be appreciated. Thanks.

You can't modify the existing sound board sounds, of that I am certain.

I think you could use something like the ERR Mini-Commander for accessories to trigger a sound playback from a sound player.  The trick is modifying a player to interface with the TMCC receiver board.  I've thought about doing a project like this, it seems pretty straight-forward.
