Good Morning Everyone,

I will start off with something I constructed in the past.

The first two pictures are of some brick kilns, a water tank and also an HO kit bash.

The third picture is of my wifes' parents home.

Lets see what you have been working on.P1030099P1030100P1030101

Finished up a Lionel Branchline water tank kit, first time doing some weathering and kit building in quite some time. Found a good use for some of the excess fine ballast I had left over from building a mountain earlier this winter for the roof

Thanks to the forum for all the tips and inspiration.

Morning guys

I will be connecting the wires for the interior and exterior before the Bengals play today…

I began this project in July but placed on pause for a few months. Much Inspired by the station viewed on Chris Ambrosini layout as seen on OGR Forum.

The station will be eye level on top of my tunnel so each floor was decorated with passengers and office workers.  First floor with ticket master, second is the office workers at their desks, third is a dormitory floor for male only of course. Woodlands Plug a Play illumination shows the characters easily visible through the 31 windows and 5 doors.

Brush painting the windows with three coats took much time but is so worth the trouble. The different window design really makes the depot stand out.

Thanks all of you for sharing your great work this week.
I decided to start work on an old Korber kit that’s been on the shelf for a few years. Then I realized I had two, so might as well build them both!
Starting prep work on the brick walls. I just apply some thinned down white acrylic paint, let it partially dry, and gently wipe off the excess, leaving what’s deposited in the recesses of the mortar joints. I’ll mask and paint the doors next.

Next-clean up the excess mortar whitewash with some weathering, then mask and prime the foundation.

Nice work everyone. Seth - good to see that station developing! Steve - glad to see more of the trains unpacked after the move. Have really enjoyed seeing your structures over the past few months.

On my end  if inally constructed some gcs laser interlocking tower throws for the Pennsy tower project:

I also built this utility building kit from ITLA models. It was a super fun one day build. My only regret is not better blending the corner interlocking tabs in the upper concrete area. Might revisit that down the line.

Anthony K,  How ironic is this. About 3 hours ago I assembled the walls on the sameRube 1rube 2 Korber kit. I have been prepping it for a few days now.  I used Roberts Brick and Mortar for filling in the mortar lines and Poly S D&H gray for the base with Roberts over that too. I hand painted the doors roof brown. This is my second Korber kit this month having earlier completed the Pickle Factory which we renamed a meat packing plant. This one will become  the Rubilotta Mattress Works for a great friend who was at one time National Sales Manager for Sealy Bedding.

Bill, that’s a cool coincidence! Your building is looking good.
