Very Nice Alan. I had to flinch when I saw the LILCO name on the building. As a native Lawn-Guilander, not many good things to say about that company around here. Their old plant on Northport Harbor was a great spot for Striped Bass though. This kind of reminds me of that plant- it had 4 stacks not 5 though.

When I built my 12’-by-8’ layout about twenty years ago, the bridges, built from wood kits, were intended as the main point of interest.

I've cleaned a few rattle can nozzles...

I finally finished this.  Frame lengthened, fixed pilots and I had to make 4 new wheels because I accidentally cracked the flanges.

Night shift at the shops. After this was installed I rewired the layout and as part of that effort I now have more accessory circuits available. I hope to play with more lighting experiments in the future.

Norm, Fantastic.  Is the cement work actual squares?

Thanks, no that is scribed MDF. I’ve done individual squares/pads before. Kinda nice to do it that way because you can shim random ones to make them look sunken/raised etc. This had to be fairly flat since the whole thing was routed for rails.

After this, I made another to extend the length of the outdoor service area.

I worked on the srorage tanks in Nortport. We replaced a roof on a tank that is 314 feet in diameter at that location.

You must be doing better than me with the spray cans. The nozzles on the painters touch spray cans are pretty sorry. I have thrown many of those cans at the wall when they won't spray.

I have seen much less talent on oil cloth and framed 😆🤣

Would really enjoy seeing your layout live and visit the wonderful restored area there in Williamsburg VA! My most favorite and memorable vacations have been there and VA.
