Rehab.......

One of our members decided to decrease his active participation.......he owned two of our critical modules. Rather than let the modules languish, I took them off his hands and am doing a temporary rehab for our upcoming winter displays (until something permanent for them can be planned).

I am temporarily turning the scenery from a park setting to a city/industrial are. 1st step, get up the old scenery.................not fun job!

The 1st two pics show my temporary vision....

Blue tape to outline the areas I was to hit with alcohol to soften and take up.....

If you really want all that stuff GONE, put a wire wheel in an angle grinder and go to town.  Sanding that junk off will clog the paper and you'll have to stop and keep changing it.  It goes without saying that safety goggles are essential, and you cant be afraid to chew up the table top a little bit.   If you're going to re-scenic it, then it wont matter.
