My dad saved them from the scrap man when the locos were in the scrap line in Lagrange, IL.
Bumblebee is an easy scheme if you can find the Microscale decals.

Just got my emailed UPS shipping notification.
Don't get too excited though. As others that ordered direct in the past know:
3rd Rail checks the container, reviews all the orders, and enters the shipping labels well before actually shipping to make sure things are correct and accounted for.
Just the same I can't wait to see them!

On the last items I purchased, I received my tracking number much later than everyone else, but I believe that all of the products shipped at the same time.
So in other words, those who receive their tracking numbers first, endure more torture than those who receive them last. Consider yourself lucky!

The PA's arrived in Scott's warehouse on Monday afternoon. There is the usual sorting to do and then getting the shipping taken care of. I suspect most will be delivered within the next week to two.
Do we have a number count for how many models were produced? This would give a better understanding of why it takes so long. Your dealing with x person wanted 2 models---then its 2 rail or 3 and then specific numbers requested like 8019 and 8026. then packed and shipped.

I have a New Haven PA-1 on order. Does anyone know what track diameter was specified for the 3-rail version? I do have O-72 but prefer to run it on O-54.

wow there is pic of my new sp pa . I can not wait for mine to show up.
Hmm . . . I will have to do something about all this foam that's forming in the corners of my mouth. The Santa Fe version is accurate for 1949 through 1958 -- absolutely perfect for my period.
I do believe that Jonathan has outdone himself in the rendition of the painting and lettering.
When I get a shipping notice, I'll start switching Train No.7 together for departure as soon as the Alcos arrive.
It will be kind of neat to know that the Santa Fe Alcos are in a UPS container moving across the former Santa Fe at high speed, on the same route that their prototypes ran.
Sounds like Scotts PAs were the hit of the show, great value for the money.
Oh I’m sure there were bigger hits than Scott’s PAs but they were definitely worth the visit
The N&W numbered their SD-45's in the 1700 - 1800 series, so, I have to question the "SOU" below the number. Also, the number looks quite "thin" as from a previous "NW" style. Hope it isn't too late to get this changed for the N&W folks who have ordered them.

Those are production samples and there are quite a few errors on the NS model including the SOU under the cab number which will be corrected. The paint on the models is impeccable and it’s crisp and clean with great lines
