Sunset has listed many roadnames for consideration. All the ones I hoped for are listed- ACL, SAL, C of Ga, etc.

NH GP9 on order! Hopefully these sell well and best of luck to sunset in their endeavors.
Darn, so many roads to Choose from.
There is the GTW listed for the GP9, so that better be the Blue, Red & White scheme applied between 1972 and 1992.
RI is listed for the GP7, but is that the original scheme or THE ROCK scheme.

Looks like another upcoming expenditure for a New Haven GP9. Just waiting to see the color scheme.

But are these units going to be the 5 fan type or the later 3 fan type?
The SD 7/9 a few years ago from Sunset. Great Northern did not use dynamic braking, there were cold weather covers/hatches for some of the fans. The couple of Sunset models, I have, tend to be proto-typical. They did the SD9 in several different roads also. Probably why, they are offering GP7/9, they have molds, and are changing the trucks/drive system. A low investment project. IMO. Mike CT. E-mail Sunset, or call. Your input/money, , is important to them.
They will post drawsings/schematics of the paint schemes on the website as they go along. They always do.
As for detail questions, we may have to send an email to Sunset to find out.
Three N and W. May go to four.
These used to come by all the time pulling coal trains. They could be a pain when you got stopped; coal dust haze over the tracks, cars lined up waiting to move, traffic snarled. And now NS is moving to Atlanta.

There was only one color scheme for the NH GP9's:

These will be really nice models. Maybe I can fit a couple into my collection
Does Sunset models make their units in multiple road numbers? Do they take road number requests? I have an interest in diesels that have made their way into preservation being made.

Yes.
Do they take road number requests?
Yes, especially if enough other folks reserve/order such a road number.

Email Scoot Mann, and make your desires known.
Thanks Hot Water I will be in touch with him!
Burlington GP7 in black and GP9 in red for me 😊
I wonder if there is enough interested PRR and UP fans for Scott to do GP9Bs? 20% of all productions were B's.

In spite of ALL the wonderful choices, Frisco not listed. Anyone else besides me interested in reserving a Frisco GP-7 ?
Can I declare bankruptcy on this website? Just looked at the F3, FA-1, GP-7's potentially available in road names I love, and did a quick price calculation. Maybe a go fund me page would work for a hopeless helpless train addict? Wonder if I really have to eat every single day?
