I have been tying to get Scott to consider the small Articulated Locomotives though there were only 2 they are unique and very attractive.  The would be great on a small layout.  3 version could be made the 2 numbered as seen above and unnumbered and lettered by owner for private RR. system!  Got any ideas or ways to get Scott to seriously consider this Loco would be appreciated, or call Scott or Shawnie!  Thanks  Charlie  Will add some attachments soon, like early next week or look on page 276 of the Guy Dunscomb book "A Century of Southern Pacific Locomotives"  These little locos have never been done in O scale, and Some Modelers might like them also in 3 rail.  How about diluging Scot with questions and suggestions!   Thanks I want 2 both of the on my S.P. Railroad!   Charlie H.

Thanks for the Info.  There is another tender used when the locomotive services the long beach dock and switching service in L.A.  The other engine with the 160 C tender was used in helper service and long haul drags.  If Scott does both I guess I'll just have to buy 2.  Thanks for the info on the drivers, had not thought of Stevenson nice call front cylinder (never made one of those but next, (might as well it would be a good experience.)  Thanks  Charlie

Bob Church's book has additional photos.  Out of print, of course, is my 12-part series on building the MM-2.  I think I went into detail on how to create cylinders, both high and low pressure.

Let me guess that you would have a better chance at getting Sunset to make these if you could be happy with a repainted USRA 2-6-6-2.  I would put probability of production of these two right below the probability that Ford will do a production run of the 1965 Mustang, something I might like to see.

On the other hand, things like that do happen - new Piper Cubs are rolling out of several US factories.
