I am in the process of building superlayout #3 would like to can the superstreet track for 3 rail (which works out great) I'm intending on embedding the track under roadway and I'm trying to figure out if smoothit, plaster, or any other such medium will work, or spend 500k on styrene, any thoughts? Any suggestions? Anybody wants me committed?

I used hardboard from Home Depot painted to match the track. It is easy to work with and is the right height.

I am upgrading a retaining wall with portals. Does anyone know the height of the Super Streets UPS Step Van? I don't have one, but will be on the lookout for one, and I'd like to be sure my portal opening is tall enough to allow this van to pass. I have the taxi now and it is just under 2" at its tallest point.

Brad,

To clear the rear mirror on the step van, you will need a minimum of 2 3/4" above the rails.

Thanks, Gents. I was guessing 3" would be enough, so it sounds like that will suffice.
