Switcher Saturday: 2015-May-15

Thanks for starting this post. I only have 2 switchers but do like the little engines. Here is my 2 I have.

Nice photos!  Here is a favorite scene on my layout.

Just posted some pics of my B&A 0-8-0's on the other photo thread. Here's one I didn't use. Engine started out as a Legacy MKT. It had the correct rd. no. for a B&A and just required re lettering the tender. Kadee's have been added, weathering, a shortening the drawbar, and a center mounted headlight which is correct for the B&A.

Just won this PRR B28 on Stout Auctions.  Will post better pictures once it arrives.

 The long hood end does look a bit silly with no windows but what are you going to do?

I have always loved these B&O C-16T engines. One has been on my radar at train shows for years. Some how I always just miss them. I would love a new one without serrated wheels if MTH is listening.

Richard E. I love your Niargara Junction center cab! It really looks great. I have heard of people attempting this conversion but yours is the best I have seen. Kudos.

Here is a shot of the little Plymouth switcher at Strasburg.  I think that was the same year I got the K-line version for my son. 

Thanks guys for keeping SwitcherSaturday alive, I promise to not skip again for a while.  The good news is we had a nice weekend and spent Saturday in NYC, even took quick stops to Grand Central Terminal & "The Red Caboose" (aka Manhattan Train & Hobby).
