The Swiss DE 6/6 electric locomotives, the Seetal Crocodiles, were built in 1926 for the Federal Railways, three models have been made. One of them is preserved and is still in working condition. This model have been made by ETS, the Czech brand in three rail o gauge.

 Yay! SWSat is on! Welcome back Rich. That looks like a nice caboose you picked up. I think I have two yellow Atlas versions of the same car. I am posting from my daughters swim meet in Yonkers so I am not sure if my pictures will post. Here I’ll try.

Bottom shelf is a B&O C16a . This is the modified tender version of the saddle tank C16.

Next here is the “before” of a 2-6-2 side tank engine .

WOW Brian- Kodak had quite a railroad. Guess Mr. Eastman was a train buff. Nice to have the funds to build your own railroad.

I was thinking about posting my B&O Tanks this morning anyway so since Tom started with his I'll add on mine too. That ROW model is very nice BTW

This one is missing the lettering on the tank. I have a set of water-slides for it. I just have to work up the courage to work with them again. Haven't done decals since my model building days when I was a kid.

And a few Plymouth's for good measure

Small locomotives and short trains are the best fit on my 10-by-5 layout. Boston & Maine #115 is an MTH Premier model of a GE 44 Ton diesel switcher. K-Line made the model of B&M wood caboose #104331.

Good morning SWSAT friends!!  I'm enjoying everyone's photos!

Rich - Welcome back! Thanks for notching out the throttle and getting us rolling this morning.  Great caboose purchase and selfie photo!  

Brian - I remember seeing the Kodak railroad in action when I played a concert at the Kingsport Fun Festival in  Kingsport Tennessee back in 1990.  Eastman Kodak had a huge facility in Kingsport.   My brass quintet performed at the Eastman Kodak Auditorium which was located on the grounds of the facility ( if I'm remembering correctly? )   I viewed the rail operations both at day and evening from an overpass.  It was a busy and huge operation!  

Since Rich kicked off the B&O theme today and others followed suit, I'll show some new photos of my B&O Dockside which I took last Sunday.  Also a photo of my C&O 0-8-0 pushing two coal hoppers which I weathered a while ago.   Btw - as I've lightly weathered this Docksider, it is now on my immediate schedule for a more intense weathering job.  I'll show photos when completed.

Today at the RiCHY (Richmond, Chesapeake, Hudson Yard) we have a B&O #25 pulling a new B&O caboose around the yard. I finally picked up a proper B&O caboose earlier this week when I stopped in to a LHS in Ashburn, VA. This is an Atlas O model, I was always planning on buying an I-12 caboose, but I do like this model quite a bit.

 

Ashburn VA is quite a neat town, I suggest any of you that are driving up or down the I-95 Virginia corridor to stop in and stroll around.  It's also one of the locations that the "Virtual Railfans" post a live webcam on YouTube, which is neat.  I grabbed a "selfie" along with a caboose that was hiding behind some buildings.

The Peter Lerro A5 switcher print, "Shifting on Delaware Avenue," of a PRR A5 shifter on Delaware Ave. in Philly was actually used as cover art for one of the past editions of the PRR Technical & Historical Society's quarterly magazine, The Keystone. So, if any of you are looking for a birthday present to yourself or from a significant other, I would highly recommend joining. I've belonged to several railroad historical societies over the years and I would say theirs is the beefiest and most interesting magazine. I believe Mr. Lerro's artwork has also appeared several times inside the magazines and on other covers, as well.
