Good Morning #swsat crowd. It's time once again for the weekend gathering of we who love the little loco's.

Bring us your tiny, your overworked, your underappreciated, your yard goats and critters and transfers!  If you can appreciated an A5 over an Allegheny, or a B6 before a bigboy, you've stumbled into the right place

P1022136

For this weekend's kickoff, here's an older image of an mth GP-9.  Unfortunately this particular unit is awaiting repairs as it is a proto-sound 1 machine that I am pretty sure has a blown capacitor on the control board.  I just wanted to look through some old photos for something different.

So please share an image, a video, a story, a happy thought etc., related to a switching loco of any age of scale!

So welcome to Switcher Saturday,  show us what got!

Switcher Saturday guidelines:

1. Everybody continues to be nice.  In the digital age it's too easy to forget that words on a screen were typed by a living person.  It's never been an issue on this thread yet, and I think we should be proud of that.

2. The subject here is small locomotive power of all kinds.  3 rail O is a given,  but all are welcome,  Full size, Hongz, live steam,  park RR's, industrial critters etc.  You get the idea!

3. This weekly thread starts on Saturday but is open all week.   Feel free to check out old threads. Here is a link to last week's thread.

4.  This thread is in the photo album section to follow the terms of service of the OGR forum website.   In that same vein, please only post pictures of your own or those you have permission to use here.  Think it's cool but can't find a way to get copy and paste permission,  no problem,  just post a link instead.

5. Have fun!

Happy SWSat!

This week the switch crew is checking the track on a new freight spur under construction. A new business is coming to town and they requested freight service from the RSJ&B. Looks like the ROW crew is way ahead of the building construction. Word is that the land owner's permits have not been released from the local building department yet.

Excellent switchers everyone!  Thank you for starting us off with a fine looking Western Maryland Geep, JHZ!!

Here is my latest, a RailKing Scale PS2 WM RS3.  While I like steam better, the RS3 is my favorite diesel.  Sorry Bob, the BL2 is not my favorite, but it is on the list.

That's a beauty Mark. Looks a lot like mine except I've got an earlier model with Loco-sounds only.

Sidehack, there is NO video!

But I am sure we would like to view it!

Try again.

That is strange, there is an arrow on it and when I clic it the video shows, sorry not sure why it won't work for you.

So for now here is a still shot of Hudson

I can see it too.

BTW, where's Hobo Harold ?  (assuming you're the Ray I'm thinking of).

Don

Wow, great stuff everybody!  Lots of the Wild Mary, (I always love those fireballs), and the Ma & Pa out in full force as usual.

I love seeing what you creative folks come up with.  Feel free to add to this post all week.

Sidehack, I am primarily a Google chrome mobile user.  For me your videos play sound but an all black picture - not sure why

Melgar, I like your scene with the structures close to the track.

The best way to view the video called "Freight Train Blues" is  probably is to go to Youtube    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWDx8ypiL5g

Don, here is the first Hobo Harold  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_7MmGI3vKI&t=11s

They removed some of the music as to copyright complaints.

Here is the 2nd Hobo Harold  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJPD_uyLpyo
